Ok, The Shield Celtic knot is a symbol for protection. The ancient Celts used it to decorate the shields of warriors, the clothing of children, and to protect the sick.
I put it in the back of the kilts I make to protect the wearer's back. I don't know if there are any copyrights or registered trade marks that cover the Shield Celtic knot. If there are, let me know. I am proud that L&M uses it on their fine products.
