One other kilted member or the group (although too young to join the official xmts rabble) missed the photo---my son Carter in his infant MacDonald. I will post pictures of him here later as well as on the "Dads and Sons" thread.

Here is the missing future rabble member, my son Carter, in Modern MacDonald casual infant kilt:

Here is my group pic, not much different from Rex's---same folks:

Most of the rest of my pictures were family oriented so will not post here.

Yes, mud was the word for the day. Several nice vendors, watched a bit of the dance competition, probably joining the Louisville scottish Society, beautiful british antique cars. I lusted for the same Jag that Rex took the pic of. Had to bolt early because of an unruly child and tired spouse but hope the rest of the rabble had a great time.

I'm wearing Ancient Henderson (that's me in the middle of the group photo) - band uniform for the Louisville Pipe Band. (Switched out the ball cap to a Glengarry for the massed bands & competition). We wear the Henderson tartan in recognition of Col. Richard Henderson, who funded Daniel Boone's forays into the area that became Kentucky.

It was a pleasure meeting everyone. Sorry I couldn't hang out & wander around with y'all. I also apologize for the misdirection on where the massed bands would be - it changed from what I had been told.

LPB Grade V took 3rd of 3 bands. LPB Grade IV took 1st of 5 bands (and best pipe section and best drum section - that doesn't always happen that way).

The grassy areas were indeed very sloppy - I'm glad I was wearing my overshoes. Today was also a very lovely day to be there. (LPB was the house band this weekend, so we were asked to play a couple of 'walkabouts' for atmosphere). Small crowd - maybe 200-300 all together. KSW is a VERY small games.

I'm on the left wearing Ancient Gunn. After a week of camping in the rain it turned out to be a great day even though the turn out was a little down. It looked to me that about a third of the venders didn't show probably due to the weather. I was really happy to meet all of you and hope that we will be able to get together some time and chat.
