I'm afraid I concur with my brethren who have already posted. I think it would work in addition to a sporran, as a side-pouch for your cell phone, but not in front. BTW, Stillwater Kilt has some basic leather sporrans that are not much more expensive than that one, so you don't have to pay a lot for one.

It's a nice looking pouch, however, I wouldn't wear it as a sporran. But, that's just me,...wear what you like.

Its not my cuppa tea... but I am sure there are some who would wear it as a sporran... with that I say.. to each their own...

I would like to thank all of you for your advice. I ended up getting a sporran from Stillwater Kilts. Only to find out that 2 of my kilts are to big on me now. Well one is way 1 is way to big, and the other is just about to be to big if I lose anymore weight. The one that fits great is my amerikilt, the one I didn't need the sporran for.

Well...ummm
like what you wear, and wear what you like. I must, however, add my vote to the "oh hell no" box! But then as far as all things kilt I am ultra trad and ultra conservative!
