my wife and I were out for our anniversary Sunday, I was wearing jeans, and I cpmplained that had I known we would actually get out, I'd have worn my kilt. She replied something like 'I thought you didn't wear your kilt for me' but i told her the simple truth of 'no, I wore jeans because I thought we were going to the mall for lunch. If we dressed how the other wanted, you'd be in a short skirt and low cut top' and she just shrugged.

I figure as long as I keep making her feel like a treasure and divert attention to her, then I can keep wearing the kilt around her. Heck, I was dressed almost the same as I was the night she picked me up. I wasn't wearing the vest then.
I helps that she's a rennie and loves the look of a kilted man.
