    Armed Forces Day

Therewere just two bands and one was mostly brass. I do not know which fregiments they as their drums bore no names or badges. I have to say I was quite disappointed at the whole event as it was not the usual polished performance.

I can hear the pipes and smell the fish frying. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful experience!

Thanks for posting the photos. While it may not have been up to the standards of previous years, I am glad to hear they still honour the men and women of your Armed Forces.

I was stationed at RAF Lakenheath and the only time we did formation was a once a year Inspection and we got picked by our barracks duty NCO.
It was posted on the board two weeks in advance. I was in the photo lab and never got picked but I did have to shoot the review for the Base Paper, two years in a row.
