    Just got in a heated facebook discussion with a guy who thinks kilts are passé. He asked if I was trying be a woman. Reminded me of this thread and I told him no, I am a man. Women wear pants. Sorry to my sisters here, love your pins.

    Oh, Cockney Rhyming Slang! That's wild stuff. People give Americans a hard time for our slang, but I think the English could give us a run for our money. And from what I've heard from my husband, the people from Naples Italy do a pretty good job of butchering their own language too.

    I can't find an actual rhyme for this so might be more straight slang rather than rhyming slang.

    Closest I could find was needle and pin - thin.
