Hi Mipi-
You did a great job. I also wanted to say that I was fortunate to spend many months in Rijeka & Opatija & Postajna in 1982 when I was a boy (It was Yugoslavia then). I think your country is the most amazing and prettiest in the world!!!! AWESOME KILT!!!

Thanks!
Regarding my country....
There is a joke, which I'll try to write in English (hopefully):
The God was dividing the Earth between different nations. After he gave away all Land, there was still one family (Slovenian) waiting in the line. Kids were crying, parents were sad... God asked them, what they want and why they are so sad? They replayed to Him, "We didn't get any Land at all!!" The God was thinking for couple of seconds and said to them: "OK, you can have the Land I was saving for me" .... And they received this beautiful country from the God.
As there is always a bit of truth in every joke, then it's also in this one. If somebody doesn't believe me, he/she can see for himself (herself).
Oh dear, I'm hijacking my own thread.
Mipi.

Your conversion looks great! One bit of advice I might give you, it looks like in the photos you have your kilt pin through both aprons. You should be really careful about doing that as it can cause your kilt to rip. I quit using kilt pins at all after I almost ripped my Black Watch when my kilt pin got snagged.
As far as the comments on your beautiful country: Wow. It ranks right up there with the Western Slope of Colorado where I was raised. I think we were all blessed with a beautiful planet.

Actually no, the kilt pin is goes through apron only (not the under apron). But comparing to the fabric it's just so heavy (I guess) that it just "fix" everything together. That is the reason why I think it would be good to have a fabric patch on back side of apron to give some more tear resistance in the part of apron where pin is attached.
And yes, our planet is beautiful. We should work hard to keep it that way!
Thanks for all nice comments. I was afraid the outcome will not be wearable, but it really looks OK and it's nice for hot summer weather.
Thanks, it means to me a lot!

Looks very nice!
And as you say, in a hot summer a tank would just be a portable sauna!

That looks like a great summer kilt Mipi.
Not that it is a surprise, your kilts always come out looking great.
Take care brother.
