Ya, I've worn mine while doing light gardening, and used a tool pouch and belt as a gardening sporran.
I may very well try to find some black canvas or olive drab and make a canvas pouch in the general shape of a sporran. Or even mix leather and canvas.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Wait! I forgot, those aren't the Lewis hose I'm wearing with the kilt, they are the dark brown thigh high stockings.
Or at least I think that was what I was wearing; I can't exactly remember...
Anyway, I like the Lewis hose.
I will put a note on that post.

No big deal, sometimes it's hard to tell.
Several people have told me the straps on one of my kilts are a very dark brown. I took the straps off to replace them and it turns out they are black straps, but look like very dark brown when on the kilt which has some brown in it.
