First time public kilting and piping

I know how fun it is playing for kidlets.

My nieces and nephew love to try and blow my pipes -- they seem to have a contest among themselves to see who can get the chanter to sound first.

Thankyou everyone for the great feed back. I returned to pick my kids up from school in the afternoon all kilted and had to give an impromptu presentation to another classroom full of kids, explaining my outfit. Seems they were learning about national dress of other countries and i happened to appear at just the right time. One outing in a kilt and i have already been the centrepiece of a classroom discussion and given a quick performance presentation on the pipes. What will happen next i wonder?
Boy I love wearing the kilt, makes life a bit more interesting.
