Well, after posting this today, I see that my iPhone XMTS experience is back to its old self, so, never mind.

Sydnie I am signed on to both my desktop and iPhone at the same time and switch back and forth regularly (particularly during commercials if the TV is on). I move between Wi-Fi signals and 3G and Edge all the time, though sometimes when I'm downtown at the office, I can get a signal but no throughput.

Peacekeeper, I'm not sure whether you're speaking of a wi-fi password or the XMTS password, but if its the latter, you can check the "Remember Me" box so a password should not be necessary on repeat visits.

Rex, where I currently have my RV parked, you sign in for the WiFi. It's not an issue on my laptop, but to use it on my phone, it's a pain, and 3G works just as well.
