Thought of you and your Da
While in my deer stand in Northern Minnesota last weekend I had some time to reflect. My Pops passed eight years ago at the young age of 81. I was thinking of him and you and your Da took over my thoughts. Before I knew it I was weeping a bit for your Da. That generation of men knew what it was like to work hard and live without frills and provide for the family. My thoughts will be of you, your Da and my Pops throughout the holidays. Here's one holiday cheer for them Sláinte!

You are in my prayers, my father died from cancer five years ago, aged 85 and I still miss him a lot.
I empathise and sympathise with what you are going through.
Fortunately when I had the business of my father's funeral to arrange and the clearing and selling of the family home, my wife and daughter were great help and support. Sadly both subsequently became incapacitated, wife through a series of strokes and daughter through developing bi-polar disorder, only now am I beginning to rebuild my life and develop new friendships.

Rodger, my heart goes out to you and your family... I lost mine 2 1/2 years ago to lung cancer.. Its tough to see a man who you grew up admiring, fight that battle.. You are in my prayers and thoughts... Just know.. He is in a better place and no longer suffering.. and He always will be with you.. in your heart...
