Hand made traditional kilts can and do cost considerably more over here! Strap your kilt on and just get on with living your life. Alright, try to avoid brambles and barbed wire!

You bought it to wear it, I would say that a moderate quality kilt would survive the abuse most of us would give one so a really good one should fair that much better. Besides, I look at my kilt like my Barbour jacket the older it gets and the more wear it gets the more character it has.
