Uh, oh yeah, we need to have some formal X Marks dinners.
I wonder what it would take to work up a medal.
Well, our various and scattered Burns' Dinners should count for something.
And at last count*, the list of decorations is:
Order of the Dandelion (X Marks highest honor, for tenacity and steadfastness in the face of overwhelming odds)
Wreath of Distinguished Service (for self sacrifice in service to the League)
Bronze Saltire (for commitment and courage in service to the League)
Golden Thistle (for wounds suffered from hostile forces)
X Marks Badge (for basic service to the League)
and the League Commendation medal.

I feel very honoured to be a part of this group. As was said by an earlier poster if more people in the world in general would behave in public in a gentlemanly (gentlewomenly) manner we'd all be better off.
A way to add the :ootd: to our signatures would be a nice addition to the forum I believe.
Thanks for getting us started Panache!

I tried to learn just that very thing a while back, but the thread didn't go anywhere. Any metalworkers in the Order?

XMarks and the OOTD: an island of genuine decency in the frenetic and often overheated sea of cybertalk.
No small accomplishment ladies and gentlemen.
It's an honor and a pleasure to be a part of it.
Thanks Jamie... and thanks everyone. Well done, rabble.

We could all meet in a secret place in the Highlands, in a castle on a cliff somewhere...
