Err... I did it on purpose... to capture the motion (hem,hem...) Otherwise it would just look like a lot of people standing on one leg...

Happy St Andrew's Day!
Great piccies, Paul. I especially like the one of you and your girl on the ramparts- it just looks really nice and gave me warm fuzzies. Or maybe it's the bagpipe music I have playing? At any rate, I really enjoyed your pics. Hope yall had a grand time, though it looked cold as hell!!! Perfect whisky weather, eh wot?
Cheers,
Wesley

Great pics, Paul. Looks like a fun weekend.
I notice how many of the participants of both sexes were wearing sashes in tartan. Was that something for the event, or is that commonly done there? Given the thread here about the tartan sash Sportkilt is offering for men's use, I find it intriguing.

When you signed up for the dancing world record attempt they gave you a strip of tartan... pretty much so everyone was wearing a piece. They never bothered with me as I had a tartan kilt and scarf on. They never really told people what to do with them - although a lot of women were walking about with them on as sashes during the day and I'm guessing the men thought they'd follow!
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
