Hi are you getting any of the Texas snow?
The term "Scotch-Irish" can be confusing. In my family, it meant that my grandfather, who was born in Scotland, married a women whose family were from Ireland. I have also often seen the term used to describe those people who were forcibly moved from their homes in Scotland and sent to the northern part of Ireland to live.

It was snowing on the drive to work yesterday, but today is just chilly (low 30s).
So is it "Scotch-Irish", or "Scots-Irish"? I always thought it was Scots-Irish, though I can't say I've ever actually seen it written down. The other version sounds sorta like a drink!

from the Old Dominion State!
Not withstanding what some history books may print its Scots-Irish. Scotch is whisky made in Scotland. The Scots Irish where those Scottish individuals who emigrated to Northern Ireland and would later emigrate to the US and Canada.
St. Columba for Scotland is the equivalent of St. Patrick. Monday 12/7 is his birthday and a great reason to wear your kilt!

Greetings from Carrollton!
You don't need a reason to wear a custom kilt. Just put it on and go to the store, or the gym, or to work. Wore my IOS to work today. It was a bit nippy this morning at 34F, but very enjoyable.
