That's fantastic! It'll be a memory to treasure forever.
The torch should pass right by my house on Jan. 8th.

2min 12sec of pure happiness !!!!
No, I didn't saw an unpredicted totallity in the ephemeris, but I've the same feeling by doing the olympic torch relay during dawn at 06:58 EST (11:58 UT)
this morning.
That 2m and 12 sec. have been timed in practice on a 300m (1000') triangle course drawn in a nearby park with my GPS.
This has been the shortest but the most emotional experience of all my life. I was in a second state of mind during that short ride.
As a joke I could tell that it was making love for the first time. You remember it even if the result is not according to your expectations. ;-)
I will publish pictures as soon they are availiable.
Take care !!!

You mean you timed your first time ? And it was 2 min. 12 sec. too?
Seriously though, Pierre, congratulations! I can only imagine what an experience it was for you. I look forward to the pictures.

The 2m 12sec has been timed in practice with a dummy torch on a 300m triangular course located in a local park.
Here some pictures taken before my run :
