I love my surviors as well, but they are heavy. Went to a Revolutionary War encampment last year and packed wallet, phone, keys, etc, as well as lunch for my family (with beverages) in the pockets. Also wore one while shoveling ther 40" of snow w got in the last week. Snapping off the side pockets when you are not using them lesssens the weight considerably.
I am not familiar with Celtic Warriors kilts, but I have been happy with all the UK's I have. Great, now I have to do some research and see if I want a Celtic Warriors kilt!
