Guys, thanks very much for posting. At this time, I'd like to extend the offer to MrShoe. And I definitely have to agree with the bit about being envious of the Scots and their beautiful kilts. A friend of mine and I have mused that the Scots are the only culture where the men's clothing looks better than the women's

I really hate to see this go, but I honestly hope that I will never fit into it. So better for it to be had by someone who can make use of it.

MrShoe, I would ask you one thing. This kilt should never be sold. If you reach a point when you no longer have need or use of this kilt -- for example, because it doesn't fit you, you find you don't like wearing the kilt, or you get another kilt whose wearing supercedes this one -- don't sell it. Instead, find someone to pass it on to, free of charge, as I am doing with you... provided the kilt is still in decent enough condition to be worn. I of course have no control over whether or not you do so, but it is a request I would like to make of you. (oh and pictures... you must post pictures after you get it!)

So with the formalities aside, please send me your mailing address in a PM and I'll get it shipped out to you promptly I hope you enjoy!

This has brightened my already-bright day.

    Officially Jonesing

    The Jonesing has officially begun.

Upon logging in a few minutes ago, the PM from lethearen popped up.
What a great way to start my day on the Xmarks board !!!
In the spirit of my Ulster lineage and kilt tartan
"Go raibh maith agat" - simply.... "Thank you"

I sent my PM reply and forgot to mention one thing. If/when the time comes that I no longer have a use for this wonderful gift, I will most definitely pass it on. So no worries there. In keeping with the spirit you intended, it will go to a member of the UnKilted Rabble.

I will work on finishing a sporran before the kilts arrival and post pictures ASAP.

Arrow The kilt is in the mail!

Dropped it in the post today, Priority Mail. Hopefully you should get it by Monday or Tuesday. Maybe even Saturday! But don't hold your breath

I threw a pair of hose and flashes in the box, too. After it went down the chute I realised that the hose might not fit you... they're about perfect on me, but your kneecaps are going to be around 2-3 inches higher than mine.

And I realised after I had to write your address for the third time, that I'd spelt your name incorrectly Sorry about that. I swear the first two times it was right! I think I was just too tired of writing by that point

Wow, After reading this I don't know what to say! MrShoe, may you never take your good fortune for granted. And letheren, may your good deed return to you ten fold. THIS is why I'm proud to part of this community. Thank you for making my day better and restoring my faith in the good and selfless deeds of others.
