Wedding Anniverary

Today I took Ann out of the nursing home for lunch at the Crossways Inn at Gretna Green with friend John and his wife Yvonne, then a visit to the shopping mall. Twenty six years married, its now been almost a year since she went into full-time nursing care shortly after our silver wedding trip to Spain last April. The nurses had dressed her up smartly in a nice dress for the occasion. I had planned on going formal in my Lochcarron Highland Granite 8-yard kilt, but as it was the first pleasantly warm spring day after months of cold weather I decided to break out the casual and wore the Brighton Street Kilt from Carse of Gowrie kilts with light bermuda socks.
