All these kilts that pass through me... I wish I could find one not made-to-measure that fits as well as everyone elses!
You and the kilt look great - the real highlight is those pleats! and I'm glad it finally got to you I would say 'enjoy' but it looks as though you already are!
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

The pleats are certainly not the highlight of that kilt; rather it is the tartan which in this case just happens to be very dear to my heart.

Congrats on the great new kilt. I've got one just like it on the sewing table right now, being made for the father of a friend, and using a piece of the extra tartan the band was selling. I love the tartan...the weathered red has always been a favorite of mine but combined with the olive and pale blue, the tartan is just amazing. I sure wish I had been smart enough to pick up a length of that fabric for myself.

Very nice kilt... who was the maker? Looks excellent pleated to stripe!

I too have been thinking of the same tartan as I want a red one next!

Lochcarron was the maker. I know I got quite the steal at $150 (INCLUDING shipping)! That's 103 sterling if anyone's counting...
