Thanks.
The belt being a purely decorative item and not actually holding up a kilt (per, TAoKM), I chose to not put on any loops - cleaner, less fussy.

Welcome to XMTS. A great looking kilt and sporran. You are a good artisan. All the best with your future projects.

Per TAoKM and many, if not most, other quality kilt makers. I asked about them for my current kilt in construction, and my kilt maker all but refused to put them on. There is at least one Highland resident, and life long kilt wearer, on this site who had never heard of belt loops on a kilt until he became an xmarks member! For whatever that's worth.

The kilt looks lovely...........Beautiful work!!
Useful size sporran too.
Pleased to see no belt loops, as they were hardly ever seen on traditional older kilts.
Altogether a good job!

And here are a couple pix of the 99% finished sporran. Still needs an antler catch and maybe ribbon binding around the pouch. But, for all intents and purposes it's finished.... glued, re-stitched and other bits and bobs finished.
And yes, I will put the whole thing on and model it for you all soon,... just need to get someone else to take it is the catch,.. or try the auto-timer shuffle, I guess.

Best,
Doug
