Yes, Steve has that effect on people. Warning: it gets worse. Everyone will ask where you got the kilt. I started out with a small handful of his business cards--I think I still have two.
Welcome from deepest darkest Cedar Cottage [southeast of the giant EAST VAN sign/sculpture], Vancouver.
EPITAPH: Decades from now, no one will know what my bank balance looked like, it won't matter to anyone what kind of car I drove, nor will anyone care what sort of house I lived in. But the world will be a different place, because I did something so mind bafflingly eccentric that my ruins have become a tourist attraction.

Thanx for the hearty welcome.
I see you guys are just like the ones on the guitar forums. "It doesnt exist till me see it" Unfortunately, Steve only had 2 that I liked (Its been a long tine since I was a 32 & I hope I ever fit the other one). Rest assured I will be bragging (in picture form) when it/they arrive.

Hi, Craig, and welcome to XMTS from the bottom end of Africa.
Your visit to the Wizard will no doubt be long remembered. Hope you can hang on until you get your kilts, the two of you – the feeling you have while you wait is something we refer to as jonesing.
Regards,
Mike

A hundred thousand welcomes. I also have had the misfortune to visit that evil Mr. Ashton on occasion. DO NOT believe anything he tells you about me! Cheers aye.

I'll welcome you, too. I was in the back rebuilding the fence and planting blueberries when you were visiting in the shop.
