I will be there all three days at the Clan Buchanan Tent. We are Honored Clan this year as well as hosting the International AGM for our Clan for the first time in New England.
NHHG are my favorite games and there is always a good showing for the Clan Buchanan, but this year we are expecting a tremendous turnout.
Look forward to seeing or meeting other XMarkers there.

Alex, the event is very well coordinated with several parking lots around town being used and school buses (I am sure there is a Scottish / English name for 'em that I don't know - they're all yellow here) hauling people to and from the games. They are free to ride and the train station is one of the lots we park in. I will be parking there and the easiest way to get to and from the train is by one of these buses. We can talk about it there.

I am not sure whether the shuttle buses run between Loon Mountain and Lincoln every day or only on the three days of the games. SteveB is planning to drive me from Boston to Loon Mountain on Saturday 11th and I am planning to ride the Hobo railway on the Sunday of the weekend before the games (12th) as I would want to attend the games on the three days they are taking place. My clan gathering is taking place at Loon Mountain and I am expecting some others of the clan will arrive at Loon Mountain several days in advance of games weekend. We can discuss it at the Boston kilt night on Friday 10th.

Throughout the year the Loon Mountain Resort runs shuttle vans and buses to Lincoln and other destinations for its guests. If we find they are not able to make a run for you to the train, I guess we will make arrangements for you.
The Friday night will be a motor car ride from the airport to the kilt night. On Saturday, before we leave Boston, I hope you and I can see some of the city from the M.B.T.A. trains, and trolleys. Piccies of course.

I hope that Clan Buchanan can beat out the 64 we had last year from the MacNeil tent!
There will be lots of Cunninghams there too for the worldwide gathering at Loon Mountain of Clan Cunningham International.
Alex, since you seem to be a train buff, don't forget to look into the cog railroad up Mt. Washington, which is not far from where you'll be.. It's a spectacular ride.
Yes I also have this one pencilled into my itinerary.

It looks like Alex chose the right time to come as the leaves on our deciduous trees are just starting to change colours. Be sure to bring your camera on the Gondola to the top of Loon, as Carrabasset Valley should be in full colour.

A good idea. I'll be at our Clan tent all weekend. Just let me know and if I can be there I will.
