    I will have to give credit to my dad on that one. I was originally going to wear black, though I don't know why I normally try to wear my brown during the day.

    Oh and just as a note, kilts aren't the only thing we make. He got me started on leather working, so we also make sporrans as well. You can't see it very well in the picture, but the sporran I have on is the 3rd one I have made. I am sure he will remind me soon I still need to make one like it for him.

    Now if only my wife would start practicing her knitting again, my dad and I are ready for some homemade hose and garters. She stopped practicing to make our Yorkie a new dress. Apparently she doesn't have enough yet despite the fact she has an entire section of our walk in closet devoted to her puppy clothes. You can see in my avatar picture the kilt inspired puppy dress that she was wearing last Burns Supper.

    I never thought we would end up being such a DIY family.

    that looks pretty good! I have a question, how deep the pleats are, have no idea how deep i have to do my!?!
