Whooohooo. It's here. Came in just as I was heading off to bed (midnight shift, sleeping during the day). Needless to say I fitted it to my waist before crashing. I was very happy to see that the buckle is of some substance. I had a momentary fear that it would be rather light and of thin stamped metal. It's my first "kilt belt" and I havent examined another up close. My regular belt is a tool belt from Lowe's and a 1 3/4in p@nts belt. Whooohoo, g'nite

"The Highland dress is essentially a 'free' dress, -- that is to say, a man's taste and circumstances must alone be permitted to decide when and where and how he should wear it... I presume to dictate to no man what he shall eat or drink or wherewithal he shall be clothed." -- The Hon. Stuart Ruaidri Erskine, The Kilt & How to Wear It, 1901.
