Very nice. I like the embroidery marking the occasion.

What a wonderful kilt! I like it even better than the other "No.100".
I wish you much joy in wearing it!

Quite stunning - kilt and the pin! And as a bonus, you are looking well as well.

Fabulous, just fabulous! Great to see you wearing it, and enjoying it!
"Before two notes of the theme were played, Colin knew it was Patrick Mor MacCrimmon's 'Lament for the Children'...Sad seven times--ah, Patrick MacCrimmon of the seven dead sons....'It's a hard tune, that', said old Angus. Hard on the piper; hard on them all; hard on the world." Butcher's Broom, by Neil Gunn, 1994 Walker & Co, NY, p. 397-8.

Congratulations, Hamish! I especially like the gold lettering, the edge of the kilt, and the pin. And the tweed is intriguing, to say the least of it.
May you enjoy it in good health.
Regards,
Mike

Oh, by the way, the wool in the tweed is undyed. The colours are as naturally provided by the different breeds of sheep at Ardalanish. Just thought you might like to know!
Take care,
Ham.

Lovely kilt, Hamish. It's nice seeing other kilt makers discovering Ardalanish Tweed. I'm a big fan of theirs as well (see here).
My only question is why you refer to the kilt as a "contemporary kilt in the traditional style." All I see is tradition!
