Sharp dressing. Me, is the waistcoat has pockets, maybe a pocket watch and chain(?). I don't know about the kerchief in the pocket, maybe if there was a with/without. But still looks good as is.

    Bravo!!!!!!

An "A+" turnout if ever there was one.

As far as the placement of your kilt pin goes-- it's absolutely fine where it is. I think the white pocket square will be the perfect finishing touch.

    beaten to the punch

As I looked at your picture, I thought "bump it up with a pocket handkerchief" and then I saw you had written that, as has MoR. I agree with you both, (and all who say you look great) but I'd like to add a vote for the red hose, too, if the diced ones aren't in your plans just yet.

    You look fantastic, Scott.

Everyone else already brought up hose possibilities and the kilt pin issue. Before I read the kilt pin posts, I was already planning on giving props for both the choice of pin(I love it- can they be had readily, or was this a chance find? I unfortunately suspect the latter) and your placememt of the pin. The only way I generally like the look of a kilt pin is if it's round, rather than elongated in shape, and if it's worn high.

EDIT: Just saw the thread on that kilt pin.

I would actually wear the pin higher. That way it becomes a kilt brooch . (Yes, my own term, just made it up...) The way I see it, if the pin is elongated(sp?), on the bottom., Roundish, on top. But I have to agree, very nice outfit.
A few piccies... (Just to get the idea)

    Very nice, indeed!

Personally, I do not care for the hose to be a complete Argyll or diced look; that's just me. Maybe you're the same way!?? If so, how about Argyll top hose? Check out Dunadd Trading Company, one of our great "X" sponsors!

The outfit looks great as is. I'm not a fan of the pocket square, so I'd leave the Argyll jacket and waistcoat as they are. I do agree the Argyll or diced hose would add to the outfit, but that's just personal preference.

The one thing that I like the best is the skunk sporran. I think that the sporran makes the outfit.

Looks very sharp to me. Just my 2 cents worth, hand tied garters are a much better choice than flashes, good job. Are you at a function where a sgain would be acceptable/appropriate? If so I'd definately include that in your kit. Other than that observation I'd say you'll cut a very dashing swath at your event.
