Every now and again someone points out that a site is using the same pictures as a better known one. Sometimes it may be plagiarism and an inaccurate pic of the goods. More often it is the picture used by the firm in Pakistan that actually makes the kilts they both sell, LOL!
This is even true of a very well known site that sells men's kilts made in Scotland together with ladies' kilts made in Pakistan. No doubt there are also sites that sell kilts made in Scotland together with Pakistani Prince Charlie jackets.
Not everything is always as it seems.

Hello, to answer a few questions I help run thetartanstore.
(moderators please remove anything not suitable)
Someone mentioned that we don't any have contact details on our site. We were waiting for our line to be sorted. Contact details are available on the site now.
Someone asked where we are based.
We are based in Glasgow and we use UK based suppliers and manufacturers.
Someone also mentioned our images.
We are currently using images from our suppliers but if for any reason the photos provided are not originally from the supplier we will gladly take them down.
There is not a lot I can say here about ourselves without becoming a sponsor/advertiser which we will be doing.
I will make sure all info you could want is shared on our site.
Thank you.

Discount code is "SPECLAUNCH01" and the free shipping figures in when you go through the purchase process. Shipping is by Royal Mail to UK and by secured courier to the US and presumably other non-UK locations.

I particularly thought their jacket prices were competitive, especially the modern styles in a variety of fabrics, given the discount and free shipping. But if you are in the US don't forget about the customs tariffs you will most likely get hit for when they ship by FEDEX or UPS. Check it out, and the discount code can be used again and again, although I am not sure how long it will continue to be active.
Could not from the website find out anything more about physical location or relationships to other UK based kilt companies, so caveat emptor.

Bravo, good sir! I'm sure they're enjoying the wave of customers they are now receiving from your post.
