I collect model trains, both scale models of contemporary trains and vintage toy trains, also diecast model vehicles in 1/76 scale, and I also have a few small scale model airliners and warplanes.

Wow! Strangely enough, I do, too! Well, model trains, anyway. I like HO scale- it's very managable! I have the Transformers HO train from the 1980's! That's one of my favorite pieces!

Also, I collect Iron Maiden memorabilia. I should take some pictures of some of the cool Maiden stuff I have... I have a lot!!

And I collect the Hallmark Star Trek and Star Wars Christmas tree ornament series. Nothing says Christmas like Darth Vader on the tree...

While pursuing one of my hobby interests, I long ago acquired the nickname of Wizard, mainly for serving as the one-eyed man within the kingdom. Somebody once gave me a homemade mini-wizard statue, and that led to starting a fair collection of other hand-crafted wizards and spirits. I have a minor assortment of the wee critters in wood, worked glass, fabric, needlepoint, plus C'mas tree ornaments and hand-made candles.

The key was the hand-crafting, often made while I watched at craft shows etc. and guaranteed to be one of a kind.

My efforts rather died off after many folks starting giving me the mass-produced pewter-with-glass orb, (Dungeon&Dragons) type. I still keep a casual eye out for special examples at events, though.

I have a varied collection of what my family refers to as "beer junk", breweriana advertising items, mugs, steins, ashtrays, serving trays, etc. I also at one time had a decent movie collection, both DVD and VHS number ing about 900.
