Back in 2007 I ordered an 8 yard PV kilt from them. As I wanted it 23" instead of the standardized 24" length I accepted to wait long for it. As eventually it was delivered it was between 24" and 25" long!
At the rise it was very bulky, adding at least two inches to my waistline.
I kept it, hardly wore it, and two years ago I succeded in selling it.

That was at the start of the company. Much could have improved since then.

I just got my Heavyweight kilt from them last week (Universal Masonic tartan) and wore it for the first time last night. I am quite happy with the product and customer service at Frugal Corner.

I have 2 kilts from the Frugal Corner. Blackwatch & Confederate Memorial tartans. The gray in the Confederate Memorial isn't the gray in the same tartan in the wool but I also didn't pay the wool price. Both have been worn well & washed & have had no issues! Customer service has been great w/speedy shipping from PA Best thing is to contact them before ordering to make sure items are in stock. Best of luck

I called them 3 or 4 times in late 2010, maybe October and November. I left messages and never recieved a return call. A woman who does business with them can't seem, so she says, get return calls either (she has a celtic shop). I decided I really didn't want to do business with them though I have never seen any of their merchandise (aside from their web site anyway).

I have a knock-around kilt that I picked up from them. They're ok. It's not great stuff. I would rather order from SKW or the like, I'm much happier with the products that I've received from SWK.
