I see two pictures of a beautiful woman. Was there a guy in a kilt in them too, I did not notice? When you got that pretty of a woman hanging off your arm you could be wearing an adult diaper and flipflops with your cowboy hat and I doubt anyone would notice. So don't sweat the details--the only opinions who matter---unless you are asking specifically for someone else's opinion--are yours and your lady's. And from your choice in lydyfriends either you have pretty good taste or she has pretty poor eyesight.

I find multi-clip hangars ok but IMHO "clamp" hangars ( available for a pittance from KA ) seem to do a far better job...

Prefer the clamp type myself...if the hook turns...

You might have it backwards: She's the one who lets you be seen in public with her. Good thing she approves of your taste.
Actually, you both look great.

I notice, though, Jock, that while she puts you on the kilted straight and narrow, she wears tartan pants – hardly traditional Highland attire for men or women.
Then again, my wife wears (black) pants all the time. I am not knocking women who prefer not to wear skirts. But I do wonder what happened to skirt-wearing.

Before I found XMTS I was kitted primarily for piping. Here, a few of the vendors and the trads gave me good (but sometimes conflicting) info on proper attire for semi-formal vs formal vs daywear. Good lessons.

I love the way your lady friend coordinates her dress color to your kilt attire. You make a really sharp couple. I like the horsehair sporran. Mark has one, too. It really makes a fashion statement!

Just as I suspected! I did have a kind of funny image of this though... Jock Scot is innocently looking at a random Xmarker's post about box-pleated kilts or flatcaps and receives an immediate knuckle rapping from Mrs. Jock Scot
