The dark blade looks like an old knife that's just been sharpened. I like it, and the owner could invent all kinds of stories about its age and provenance. The olive wood is really pretty, too. How did you come to possess it?

I like the differentially tempered, unpolished look. It puts the dhu in sgian dhu. Nice work.

Thanks fellas, I have a sgian in the works that I will use the dark blade on. The olivewood came from some supplier and has been in the shop for 5+ years before I used it. Need to go find some more
