    Well done Harold. Glad to see that it has all come together for you. I like the elbow patches. They used to be seen on good 'country' clothing here in the UK - always was a sign of quality.

    Thank You Chas! I converted the jacket myself. I added the patches later. I actually do a lot of DIY for myself.

    With this outfit I made the hose, made the sporran and strap, modified the jacket, and the balmoral is a cheap wool Hong Kong tam that I fitted with ribbon and a tourie. I also made the button hole pin and the thumbstick.

    Superb looking outfit Harold and congratulations on the talent to make/alter the those parts that you did. I think the overall look is very traditional (hope that's what you were aiming for ) I echo what Jock said about being resourceful and would like to say that your jacket conversion is one of the smartest I have seen.
