It is truly inspired, and I wish I was the one who thought of it in the first place!

I've heard of "peepshi" before... Just for giggles I showed it to my (Japanese) co-worker and he was HORRIFIED! LOL! But it doesn't take much to horrify the locals when you mess around with what they consider their traditional cuisine.

Once I made fusion "maki" rolls.... Instead of rice I used pizza dough, and rolled pizza fillings inside. Then instead of dipping it into soy sauce with wasabi, I had a nice Bolognese. They thought I had completely lost my gourd!

And the Roadrunner news website likes to take the fun out of food - it lists the 10 worst Easter treats - of which Peeps is one: peeps

    Talking

We have a nice lady from Austin in the renfaire world down here named Queen Bonnie, Bonnie is the magical Queen of everything (QOE) and is a fixure at faire.
It's a long story, but she dislikes peeps a lot, so much so that some folks started an rennie order called the Fraternal Order of Knights To Obliterate Peeps (FOKTOP) they have badges and even a section on the renfaire forum about killing peeps etc...

But our good Queen met her match with my wife! Shelley has hated peeps as long as I've known her, and after finding out about FOKTOP, she got her badge and started carrying 'hanged' peeps on her belt at faire, when she finally met up with Queen Bonnie, she was promoted to Royal Peep Slayer, and given the new faire name of Shelley the Peep Slayer

I personally think Peeps are mighty tasty! but I can't say that around these two!
