There are pictures of the Stewart Hunting (modern, ancient, and muted) at
http://www.lindaclifford.com/Stewart.html
and their Lochcarron analogs at
http://www.lochcarron.com/tartanstro...t_hunting.html
Good luck in your search.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

If you go to the Scottish Tartans Museum web site, the tartan in the background is Hunting Stewart weathered (specifically Lochcarron 16 oz strome range).
I have two kilts in weathered colors myself. One is the Armstrong tartan.

The other is MacQuarrie.

Strome 16 in weathered Davidson. This is from the last bolt of the stuff woven by Lochcarron about thirty year ago. If anybody wants to share we might have it remade. It's a large sett and made up into what is probably my favourite kilt.

Here is one of my albums. There are only two kilts represented in it; Morrison Green Modern and Weathered. I think you'll be able to tell the difference.

I like all weathered/reproduction tartans, but the Douglas is especially nice, one of the nicest tartans of any colour scheme.
