Re: Edinburgh Scotland in Autumn
***Sigh...*** I'll get to visit there some day. I wanted to attend the Homecoming Scotland activities, but it happen right after our economy crashed, and I lost my job, so we had to stay home. Thank you for the lovely pictures- they do inspire me a little more to keep working towards my goal.

"Interesting" is not quite the word the good people of Edinburgh would use to describe it! Try, shambles, or disaster, or chaos, or-------, or-------,or------, but I think; disgrace, covers it best.
Great pictures Alex nonetheless!

Great pictures of Auld Reekie there Alex!
Looks like Celtic Craft Centre is still in business then.
Princes Street is simply a disgrace thanks to the complete and utter mess up over the trams alas
Like the kilted TimTin - interestingly, Jamie Bell who does his voice in the new movie, was in Hallam Foe which was filmed in Edinburgh!

Re: Edinburgh Scotland in Autumn
Another fantastic virtual vacation for me. Will have to ask you for some recommendations on where to visit if it looks like I will make it over that way anytime. Keep the pictures coming.

I'm glad to see that your lady friend persuaded you to savour the delights of the Capital, Alex. I hope you made it ti Glasgow as well.
Princes Street was completed but the contractors made a mess of it and it had to be dug up again to re-lay the tarmac seemingly. Although quite why it should take the best part of a year is beyond me.
