That is a great example of adapting a standard-issue item to your own style!

Thanks everyone. It was fun to make, though tightening the screws down at the bottom was a bit rough. Total cost was only about $30. Stillwater standard sporran and about $15 worth of spikes. The skull was from a Halloween bottle opener.

Lit, I AM irredeemable. I'm too far gone, but save yourself before it's too late!

Black Metal Genre? I'm too old to know what that means! He listens to all kinds of stuff that I'm not sure how to classify. Some of it even sounds good!

Saving is out of the question. I just enjoy ascertaining the quality of folks I'll be looking at for eternity. You're ugly, but I like you. It's a good trade.

I have been wanting to make myself an Iron Maiden sporran for a while now. That is inspiring.

I would have thought that YOU of all folks here would already be rocking something like this! He got the idea from some pics that were posted here on spiked sporrans.

Yeah... I've been meaning to for a while. Been lazy about it. I need to get one done before I go to see Iced Earth, though, so I may get to work on it soon.

Cool. But, when slow-dancing close with your female partner on the ballroom floor, remember to move the sporran over to the side.

And take out the couples next to you????

I'm getting weird thoughts mixing this and the old movie Ben Hur "Careful he has a Greek sporran watch out!"

In any case your lad has taken highland dress and come up with something that is uniquely his. That's pretty cool, not traditional, but cool!

    Rock on!
