Beautiful pics, and you look incredible! I LOVE the sporran. These pics almost have me pushed over the edge to get a solid kilt.

I absolutely agree. One of the reasons I like wearing my tweed kilt is that I can get away with more patterns elsewhere in my ensemble. Nicely done.

Thanks everyone for the great comments. I surely appreciate them all.
As for the ensembles that I'm wearing: the solid green is a SWK shadow tartan, which belonged to our own, deceased "Retro Red." The Sporran in that pic is an L&M; belt from J. Higgins; tie is County Waterford from Locharran. As for the other pics, the kilt is a 5 yard, heavy weight, Ireland's National from Tartanweb; sporran is from USA Kilts, but made by Wyveren; hose are from USAK (sorry Chris @ Dunadd...I like all of you'rs, too).
And thanks, too, for the link to "The Gathering 2013." Definitely something to consider, seeing that I've been trying to get there forever. I'd like to see Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Skye, and the Highlands. Hmm, my dream trip!!!!

Is that an airedale? My wife's bestest buddy growing up was an airedale named Aggie. She goes into fits of happiness whenever we see one out and about.
You do look terrific! Snapshots are good, but I love seeing pictures of my fellow kilt-wearers taken by skilled photographers. The composition and lighting adds greatly to the already handsome subject!

Ah yes, it is an Airedale! He's a real cutey......my best 4-legged buddy in the whole wide world. Everywhere we take him, he gets comments and, of course, people just have to pet him.
I agree, a skilled photographer is the way to go, and Pam did a fantastic job. She's located at Sardust Photography.
