Now you just need a leather cargo Rkilt to complete a leather kilt hat trick!

Ron, remember I beat ya to the British Tan RKilt? That's a first! Lead on to the poor house.
LT, I think I'm safe as long as I use p**t as a verb - it's no longer a noun here anyway

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.

Just another option to throw in the mix is AltKilt. I have a brown leather leather from Jeanie, and to my knowledge the first one she uses straps instead of the standard button closure. I am quite pleased with the kilt and Jeannie is great to work with.

So Tundramanq, did you get your Ravenswood kilt yet?
I stopped by their shop at faire this weekend to chat and Cassidy told me they had 2 or 3 kilt orders in the wake of the discussion here. They had sold some at faire as well, but I have not caught anyone wearing one yet. While I was there I took a couple shots of the red example they had on hand, sorry there are not more, but they were busy, and I had to borrow a battery from a stranger to get my camera to work!

Here's the front, showing the closure and the slash pockets,

and the back, showing the pleats and lace adjustment.
I'd not taken a really hard look at one of these before, and I was impressed by the detail and construction. And the weight, about 7 pounds.
Cassidy told me that they were also working on another leather model, this one to be more 'traditionally styled'; wider apron, knife pleats, buckle closure, etc. at a lower price point. She said she'd keep me in the loop, maybe I can be a tester!

Pretty sure the belt loops will handle a 2.5 inch belt. that color was the scarlet leather, it's darker in real life, I think the flash washed it out a bit.

A guy in a pink leather kilt - that would really confuse 'em.
