Thanks to all for the kind words.
I now understand why quality sporrans are so expensive. I only used around $50 US in materials, but it took a good 20 hours.

I did a Google image search using "hunting sporran" and downloaded this file.
I then enlarged the photo to life size and printed it.
I traced the outlines of the pieces onto my hide using tailor's carbon paper and a tracing wheel.
As I said earlier, the first time it came out a bit small, so I enlarged it a little more and repeated the process. The back and gusset were done by SWAG.
