    Tobus and others,
i could do a few free trial kilts to the first few people, I have to note that I use a machine to stitch permanent pleats as well as snap buckles. I use a polyester cotton blend in solid colors but I do have some poly/rayon generic plaids red blue and green are the three different plaids. They are box pleat and over apron takes just over a yard of fabric. So as currently I could use you original four as my testers if your nearby aka stateside.

Ideas and comments are appreciated.
I don't think you would have a problem there. We have been doing it for years. If you go to any of the big (read huge, international) kilt makers, they will help you choose your fabric, take your measurements, get a second person to check, enter the details in the order book, give you a time frame and take your money.

But if you ask to meet the person who will actually make your kilt, you will be given a polite refusal and a "sorry, Sir - not company policy, I'm afraid".

So a kilt being made by someone who's name we already know - no problem.

    Regards

    Chas
