How many kilted are there?
I bought my first kilt a little over 10 years ago. Thankfully for the Internet finding an online source was easy, though no where as easy as it is today it seems. Today a simple search online reveals a plethora of shops in everything from traditional to alt wear. My question, and please let us be honest, what percentage of people own/wear kilts? And I count everything from utility to full dress. Is it a fad only? I bought my second kilt from Kilt This about 1 month after they opened with a sewing machine a pattern and some clothe, today they have a full shop have moved into bigger quarters twice and now make kilts full time, so obviously there is a demand. But for all that (and the numerous other kilt stores popping up/expanding) I have only ever seen 1 person other than myself (aside from festivals) in a kilt. Why? Thank you all for your input.
