Only suggestion I have is, if you are going to go with boots, use long hose and push them down. Using short socks just looks wrong with me.

You look good, scotswelshrunner. But this is the advice sub-forum, so let me try to be more helpful.
I agree with others that your sporran is a bit high and that boots look better with scrunched or rolled kilt hose. You've probably also heard around here that a sporran strap, instead of a chain, is more comfortable and gentler on your kilt. Your belt looks a bit narrow... I like a good wide kilt belt, at least 2". Finally, your shirt looks fine, but if you are going for a casual look, then try a colour other than white. I agree with others that a polo/golf shirt is nice for warmer weather because it is less formal than a button up shirt, but a little nicer than a tee shirt.

I think that it is a great look. I personally enjoy wearing the 5.11 tactical pro shirts. They have 2 hidden velcro "document" pockets that are superb for holding all of the things that one might normally have in your pockets or on your waist that will not fit in a sporran.

As a general rule, I usually shy away from very light coloured shirts with a kilt, but I think that one looks fine for warm-weather casual wear. Especially with the way you've got the sleeves rolled up. Maybe it's just my monitor playing tricks, but it looks like a very fine pin-striped shirt?
I agree on the sporran being too high as well. The scrunched socks and boots are de rigeur these days for casual wear, and look fine to me. Overall, it comes off as a nice, simple casual kilt outfit. Looks good!
One other tip I'd like to share, though. Your blanket-style kilt pin (which I think is a great choice, BTW) might be better off if you turn it over. The way you have it pinned right now, if the closure happens to come undone, the pin will fall out and you'll lose it. But if you turn it over so the closure is at the bottom, then even if it comes undone, the pin won't fall out of the fabric. It will just sort of hang there unclasped.
