Smith Clan Connections

My next kilt will be a Macpherson. Hunting I guess.
But one day I will have a Smith weathered too I hope (though Smith modern is on my list before...)
But as Smith one can wear the Gow tartan too. It is very simple but that's the attraction in a way. Here I like best the modern colour scheme...
The bright red, green and blue is very strong.
(Might make a nice cut to the bias waistcoat for a Sheriffmuir doublet.)



So this is the Smith "clan" tartan as Smith is called "Gow hunting" (though originally the blue line is dark,in the Smith it is azure...)

Of course! This is Smith modern...I have in ancient colours. But this sett is also called Gow Hunting.
