I've never seen Monarch of the Glen, but I do like the Stewart Modern Hunting tartan and will probably get a kilt in that tartan someday, though I have a few others I want first. For those that want one, the good news is that the Stewart tartans are among the more commmonly available tartans.

I have noticed that BBC-America has stopped Airing
Monarch. :x It was shown during the day and on
Sunday evenings. Does anybody know when it
will start back up again. I've taped quite a bite
of it but I am still missing a good 1/2 of the
episodes. I did not want to have to buy the DVD but
it looks like might have to. I really like the earlier shows with Hector. My local PBS
stations do not carry it either.

OK - put your money where your mouth is and support the clan by wearing the tartan yourself!!!!

    I give in

Ok Ok I give in, the next kilt I buy will be a tartan, I had me eye on a really nice cord one from TFCK, but Hamish beat me to it as there was only enough material for 2 kilts. So Howie and Hamish have the only 2.
Best start checking out Bears stock of tartans and start saving up.
Oh no I've got it wrong the next kilt I buy will be for my missus, so the very next kilt after that.
Is that a good enough promise, and I'm still looking for the photo where I'm smiling

So that's why the Seaforth Highlanders wear the McLaren tartan..........oh, wait that's the Mackenzie tartan! And the second Prime Minister of Canada Alexander McLaren....oh, wait that was a Mackenzie ! No feuds though. They are a waste of time and should be left to the Campbells
