Graham .. Like you and your wife, we also do quite a bit of hill / mountain walking in the Brecon Beacons National Park ... thats about 25 miles north of Cardiff. Ive attached a picture of where we last went .. Penyfan. Its not my picture but it looked just like it as it had been snowing heavily for several days previous. Next time you intend coming to Wales let us know .. you will be more than welcome to stay with us. If you drink beer, there's a few nice local Real Ales to sample as well.
