    Friday 4th October, they're here.

Coyote (think a lot like British Khaki, darker and with more ochre than Marican-chinos-khaki)

and Tundra (a deep brown with just an ever so, so slight greying and greening, to these eyes, anyway)

As last year with the traditional lighter khaki, no complaints on design and construction.

Interesting bit, 5.11 Tactical Shorts are a fave summer wear, however are not "truly cargo." The TD Kilts are better-pocketed.

contact established; it appeared the credit card information they had was faulty in the expiration date. Got that fixed, and then they said that since I was so close to them I'll see the kilt in before next Friday.

    yay new kilts!

Got mine last Friday. Tried it on and showed it off to my son and grandsons. Got the shipping wrinkles out later with some water sprayed on and a quick tumble in the dryer. May wear it this weekend for an Oktoberfest and an art guild show at a local town.

Mine arrived today! Looks pretty much the same as last years but I got this one in black. I'll get some pics up this weekend.

Mine arrived on Oct. 4 - just after I left for the Archon science fiction convention in Saint Louis. Oh, well... it just meant that I had to wear two of the TDKs that I already had in stock.

I wore my new coyote TDK to work on Tuesday, and it's remarkably similar to those from last year, in that it's comfortable, well constructed, and about 1.5 inches too long for me. (One of these days, I'm going to have to take the risk of getting one of them hemmed.) I haven't worn the dark navy version yet, but I don't expect anything different. 5.11 does quality work.

Now, I'm off to the post office to mail two more TDKs to a lad north of the border who couldn't order them directly...
