Good grief I didn't mean to set all this off. Sorry to dissapoint Jamie but the wife has a pinstripe kilt, charcoal and pink from TFCK, but the 2 youngest lads have tartan kilts the oldest went for a denim.
Thanks for the pic Bear I can visualise the tartan now, and I have to say it looks good.
Hamish you can usurp any time you like, after all the way I see it these aren't anyones posts they are everyones to enjoy, disagree with or contribute to.
I remember you saying in Stoke that Gunn was your clan when I mentioned I was considering that tartan. I'm MacLaren myself but Bear hasn't got that tartan.
Funnily enough the youngest lad loves the traditional look, and while in Edinburgh found a sporran with only 1 tassle and haggled the shop keeper down from £35 to £10, he plans to attach a couple of rabbit tails to make the 3 tassles.
I'll put a pic of him in my album
    Cheers Rhino

    Way to go Rhino!
I knew you had the tartan gene hidden somewhere deep inside.
Great looking tartan too. I have found a sept of Gunn back on my Dad’s mothers side of the family.
I may be joining you soon with a Gunn Kilt.

    Ded,

Come on! Take the plunge. I think that your image would be well portrayed in a wild tartan.

    Ded,

Take a look on one of the tartanfinders.

How about a Rob Roy, Buchanan, Caledonian, Check the Hector Russell site for some "new style" kilts.

There are some pretty wild colour combinations out there.
