Oz got a better deal than America. We got the religious cranks and nutcases.

Given the trouble that Liz has with her son Charlie,
I don't think she realy cares what an irreverant Canadian wears under his kilt.
Sorry Ham and Graham, I'm not big on the monarchy.

Graham,
Maybe you are living in the wrong place.
You're welcome to come to Canada.

I'd love to Casey, everything I hear about Canada seems to be good (except the temperature in mid -winter).
Did you know I nearly turned out to be Canadian? When I was young my parents had a choice between migrating to BC or Australia.
Had their choice been different life would have been other than what it has been, who knows what? All I know is that the accent would have been different

Graham,
BC has much more humane winter temperatures, than Saskatchewan, where I come from. I now live in the Ottawa area which is much easier on my arthritic joints.
The up side is we don't have all those venomous creatures.

Rules about the Age-Old Question
Nice to see that you Canadians have a wicked sense of humour . . . rules depending on who sits on the throne? - my a**e! or should that be bo**ocks? [Thought I had better use the asterisks in case any of you guys are offended by seeing such words spelled out in full.]
Seriously, the only rules I know of are those from the military.

Someone in Quebec started this rumour? Don't listen to people from Quebec........jeez, we barely listen to them. Why would the French Canadians care about the "rules" from the English throne?
