Yes, I like it here. One of the, if not the most wooded county in the UK. Loads of forests, and it's own rural port to the rest of the world. (Gatwick Airport)

Well, it's kinda strange actually. Me and a mate are currently making an amateur comedy/horror series, and we decided to introduce a fictional Scotsman into the cast. I managed to get hold of a kilt and it has certainly been a hit!
I like them, they're practical in so many situations, and best of all, they don't crush your b!!!!cks.
I doubt i will ever be a full time kilter, but every now and then it makes a nice change and spices up an otherwise dull wardrobe consisting of trousers, trousers and more trousers.
Mind you, it probably would not have taken off if I wasn't interested in Scotland. I have never been before and I am desperate to go. I might try and drag my girlfriend there next year sometime.

Ben, welcome to the board!
I saw that you're making a comedy/horror series. Is this for television? Is comedy/horror along the veins of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"? I saw you get that on BBC4 - great show.
I'm a television production student here in America, so I'm always interested in hearing about creative things people are creating.

Famous last words. I didn't think I'd go full time with kilts when I started but in a fairly short time I found I have. Granted, some times call for trousers, but since early March that's only happened for me a couple times, one of which involved a ladder and the other crawling under a car.

Bubba is right Ben, you don't yet understand the mysterious and intoxicating POWER that kilts can have over you.
Just when you think that you are free to wear trousers whenever you want - you find yourself putting the kilt on instead, standing in front of the mirror and wondering what shoes would go best with the kilt today.
I'm only warning you

Welcome, Ben! Be forewarned, kilting is addictive. Remember, we all started with one!

No, this aint a serious thing, just a bit of fun at the moment, but big enough an interest to be a possible career path for me. My main interest is in editing and I am in charge of editing the raw footage.
The show is completely nuts and has no script, only a general storyline to work from divided into scenes. Only small at the moment but hey, thats how Peter Jackson started out! Now he's got oscars.
The show has virtually no budget. The kilt that I bought has been the biggest budget basher so far.
